Oral Surgery

Clinically reviewed by Dr. Susie Zhang, General Dentist at Starlight Dental. BDS (King’s College London).

Extractions

Teeth that are too damaged, decayed, or infected to restore are removed as gently and quickly as possible under local anaesthetic, with clear aftercare guidance so healing goes smoothly and, where relevant, options for replacing the tooth discussed upfront.

Wisdom teeth removal

Wisdom teeth that are impacted, causing pain, or crowding neighbouring teeth are usually best removed before they cause bigger problems. We assess position and difficulty with digital X-rays first, so you know what to expect before you’re in the chair, straightforward cases are handled here, and more complex ones are referred to an oral surgeon when needed.

Feeling anxious? We can help

If extractions or oral surgery make you nervous, we offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to take the edge off. It’s breathed in through a small nose mask, works within minutes, and wears off just as quickly once we turn it off, so you can go about the rest of your day.
